The Carré store turns 20 years!
Dear readers,
Yesterday Carré's beautiful store at Laederstrade 18, turned 20 years! It had to be celebrated of course and together with Carré we invited both press and VIP's for the anniversary. It was served delicious breakfast from The Yoghourt Shop and the decorations in the store was amazing as every guest received a little gift hanging from the roof. The store is the first of Carré's own stores and is located in the heart of Copenhagen, which truly embraces both the identity of Carré as a brand and its jewellery collections. The architect behind the interior design in the store is Leif Sigersen who has been with Carré since the beginning. The guests at the event got a little presentation from Shiri, designer and founder of Carré telling us the story about the brand and its lovely collections. This Thursday morning couldn't have started out in a better way and we all had a great time at the event.

Gestuz Pressday
Hello everybody! As some of you might have noticed on Instagram, we had an exclusive to Gestuz Pressday yesterday, where Sanne and Christiane from Gestuz team presented the AW14 collection to the fashion press. This blog will take you through the lovely and cozy day with the press and the two very beautiful girls from Gestuz.
This is Sanne, she is Creative Director :)
And this is Christiane, she is Head of PR and Marketing :)
Everything was ready and set, and Choko Choko Yeah had prepared some beautiful chocolates with the Gestuz logo.
For the first team from ELLE Magazine, we had some breakfest ready, along with freshly pressed juice.
The lovely girls from ELLE each chose their favorite styles from the collection. Laura Lawaetz, Web Editor chose the legendary leather pants, and assisting Fashion Editor Johanne Brostrøm the awesome textured coat.
We had a few moments before the next team arrived - a time to refill the coffee cups, eat some yogurt from The Yogurt Shop and have some laughs!
Next up was team Costume, with Fashion Editor Maiken Winther and assisting Fashion Editor Thora Valdimarsdottir - these girls are always such fun, so the presentation really was cozy, personal and FUN. Above you get a glimpse of the atmosphere :)
However, they also showed their favorite looks. Maiken chose the grey coat, and Thora a printed skirt with a white turtleneck.Pssst.. Look at the AMAZING shoes in the background!!!
When lovely Clara Matz from Eurowoman came, it was time for lunch.. And of course more coffee!
Clara loved this new take on the down jacket, and we think she looks awesome!
Last but certainly not least team Cover joined us for the presentation. We had prepared some pink bubbles and some sweets for Key Account Manager Gry Sofie, Web Editor Camilla Høg and fashion assistant Lykke Sæves., while they listened and looked attentively at Sannes presentation.
And here they are in their favorite Gestuz items. Lykke in the edgy leather biker, Camilla in a beautiful blue jacket and Gry Sofie in an absolutely TDF coat!!We had such a lovely day for the Gestuz Press day, and we would like to thank both the Gestuz team for coming all the way from Jutland, and all the sweet girls from the magazines! And really - you should look forward for the AW14 collection to hit the stores! Both the accessories and the clothing are wonderful! It's never been better :)

London Calling! A little trip to ASOS Headquarters
Hi everybody :) We entering very exciting times here at 9PR, and we would love to show you what's new in our little family. One of the very exciting news is that we are officialy the new PR agency in Denmark for ASOS!! We are very proud to present this to you, and we are looking very much forward to working with lovely ASOS. We are pretty sure that many of you already know the cool online shop, that offer various styles from other brands, but what we at 9PR are about to represent in our showroom is ASOS' own brand, which is both cool and young, but also classic and chic. The ASOS brand includes both clothes, shoes and accesories for both men and women, and we are absolutely certain that the items will fit prefectly in our 'wardrobe' at the showroom. ASOS invited 9PR along with two representatives of the Danish fashion press to the London Headquartes, for the ASOS pressdays. The following blogpost will take you through Anne Mønsted from Costume, Kristine Sørensen from Euroman, Line and Ninas days in London with ASOS.

We were all very excited about joing the ASOS pressdays, to figure out exactly what styles will be at our showroom. Here is a cute taxi pic :)
It is extremely difficult to pinpoint just one favorite style, when you are surrounded by so many beautiful items! However, we succeded, and here is Ninas favorite style - a pretty midi full skirt in a sweet rose color with gold appliqué.
Kristine loved this embellished shift dress in white with black detailing.
Line couldn't help but loving this amazing grey faux fur. Scrool further down, to see some of the other styles, we loved!
ASOS is really great at communicating the exact and contemporary tendencies that are ever changing in fashion. Here, the checkered cape for those chilly Autumn days, the pastel bag with steel handles a la M2malletier and the uber feminine shoes and beenie.
This beautiful and cool sky blue biker jacket was one of our absolute favorites. Sweet Jasmine Walker from ASOS is showing it of.
Anne and sweet Aiofe from ASOS are having a chat amongst the lovely clothing. 
This really was a huge showroom with lots of clothing that we would love to bring home :)

We had a lovely and fun day at the HQ. This picture gives a great impression of the atmosphere of the trip. Fun, smiles and lots of laughter. 
Some of what makes ASOS stand out is the cool feature that they have on the website, namely; the View on Catwalk feature, which allows you to get a better insight into how the fabric moves and sits on the body. And above is exactly where these small films are shot.
And who else to shoot on the catwalk than sweet Anne? when in London, you know... ;)
All talk and no play... After a long day at the Headquarter, we were invited for a lovely dinner with the ASOS team. The food and drinks were great, and we loved the British company.

Next day we had cozy and a little tired, breakfast before returning to Copenhagen.

Black is Back with B&O PLAY
Tuesday night we attended the launch party of B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen's new family member - the iconic BEOPLAY A9 music system! The event begun with an exclusive introduction to the new special edition A9 speaker system for the press and VIP's. There was served gorgeous food from the creative chef's duo "I'm a KOMBO" - everybody loved it! We also got to listen to a sneak peek on the same evenings music concert by guitarist Milos and Katrine Ring. Later on, we were also invited to the the record label Deutsche Grammophon's Yellow Lounge event and concert with Burgan G, Milos, Mikael Simpson and Katrine Ring, that was taking place the same evening.

We were served a very special drink, which we all thought contained no alcohol, but turned out to be a mix of Gin, Vermouth, Campari and a little bit of beetroot juice. For dinner we got a deconstructed chicken curry which was to die for! Im a KOMBO is a tailor made, food design concept which combines the pleasure of food with both art and the social act when dining.
We were lucky enough to be in the company of Andrea from the blog The Insight and her better half:)
Milos played a small section of the following concert and it sounded amazing!
After the little sneak peak-concert Cecilie got the chance to have a chat with Rikke May from the blog The Insider and Katrine Lund who is Fashion Koordinator at the magazine Alt for Damerne.

Here is sweet Cecile showing her VIP-pass to the concert, in front of the new black BEOPLAY speakers that were the center of attention during the evening. We are just so crazy about them and would love to have one ourselves.
We ended the night by attending the Yellow Lounge concert where the sound was so amazing it gave us chills. The whole experience from the event was truly great with a nice mixture of music, food, drinks and people.

Dinner at the Envii store
Hi guys! :)As some of you might know, Envii hosted a small and exclusive dinner event last Wednesday, and it really was a great, fun and cozy evening. Therefore, we would like to give you the opportunity to join in from your own couch, and see who was invited to the event. Envii had invited us and the press to give an insight in what the brand stands for, their values and identity. We also got the chance to meet the faces behind the brand, who is a small, creative and dynamic team that always work together to create collections that are in line with current trends. We had a lovely night in the best company of the Envii team and the girls from Eurowoman, Woman, Cover, Costume and Elle. The food was sooo amazing and we were having such a great and fun time.

TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen: It's cool to be kind!
This simple sentence characterizes TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen to the fullest. Many of you might remember the statement tee “It’s cool to be kind” and this is exactly the philosophy that became the starting point of TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen. After several years working as a designer for some of the major institutions in Danish fashion, suchs as IC Companys and SAND, Tusnelda was involved in an accident that dramatically change everything. The accident caused a broken back with excruciating surgery to mend the damage. This experience forced Tusnelda to see the world in a whole new way – a way that allowed her to launch her own brand, and in doing so, allowing her to do things her own way. For Tusnelda this meant taking a greater social- and environmental responsibility when sourcing materials and choosing her suppliers. The following Q & A will give you an impression on what it means doing things the Tusnelda way..
It was on a cold morning in March, that I went to Østerbro in Copenhagen to get an idea of what TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen is all about, and not many minutes passed before I got it. I was welcomed in the entrance by the always smiling Sales Manager, Anne Sofie, who pointed me towards Ole - Tusnelda's husband and partner. The comfortable ambiance was emphasized by soothing music and shortly after, I am introduced to Tusnelda herself, with a cup of coffee in my hand. Seconds later I am overwhelmed by Ronja, the absolutely wonderful office dog, wagging her tail and barking with happiness. When everything quiets down, I already have another coffee in my hand, and Tusnelda and I turn into our conversation.
“After many years of working in Danish fashion, you discover exactly what it is that inspires you and your design. My accident made me rethink my own ethics and I decided that in order to be true to myself and my design aesthetics, I had to launch my own brand, with my own codes of conduct.” “You often hear that incorporating CSR and sustainability into your company – and especially in the fashion industry – you compromise either the price or the design. Maybe this is true for some, but not for me. My inspiration comes from the fabric/textiles, not the other way around. This means that I find the fabrics before I design the pieces in the collection, and this allows me to use textiles in my designs that I know are manufactured in an environmentally friendly and humane manner." “CSR is not an active choice for me; it is a part of me and the TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen DNA. I only want to work with kind people, and I only want to design clothes where I know that I can rest assure that we have done our outmost to ensure that all links in the value chain have been handled with care. And yes, this means that I cannot always choose the easy solutions. However, I take pride in the fact that I have a close relationship with our suppliers in China. I go to China often and I visit the factories that manufacture the fabrics. In China, you first become friends and then you become business partners. This means that we have a basis of mutual trust with our friends and suppliers, where I do not bargain the price, and we can trust that they don't use dangerous chemicals, child labour or 'forget' to pay their workers. In other words, we have a mutual understanding that the Code of Conduct is followed at all times. The Code of Conduct is a set of mutual rules and guidelines that cover everything from safety at work, chemicals, waste, child labor and the like.”
One thing is very clear; TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen is not like most other brands when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility. CSR is not a choice, it is an integrated part of both design, production, thoughts and heart of the brand and the owners Tusnelda and Ole. It seems as if CSR is a necessity, the drive that pushes them forward: "The day I start not caring about these things, I might as well quit, because I will have lost the integrity - both of my brand and of myself. You would not want me to design anything, because I will be indifferent to the textiles and thus the design. I simply have to care!".
Above: Two examples of TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen's use of sustainable material. These styles are made from Reclaimed Cotton - the fabric is made from the leftovers that occur when producing cotton. However instead of just trashing the leftovers, you recycle it. Clever, huh?
Friday Cravings
Happy Friday! :) The weather has been crazy good and summerly the last couple of days and here at 9PR our minds have set for summer. Tonight all of us girls are going out for dinner and we feel like wearing something breezy in light materials. We would love to wear this outfit in these beautiful colors. It might be to early with sandals, but they kind of completes the outfit and thats important too! Anyways we're looking forward going out and maybe have a glass of wine. Do you have any funny plans for the weekend too? :)
