in:in:in Event
Last Thursday we had a very educational and interesting event at the showroom. In collaboration with Dansk Mode &Textil, we invited people to the in:in:in (inspiration, information and innovation) event. The first speaker of the night was Alberto Costabello from the trend agency A+A Design Studio, who works with trend forecasting within the fashion- and lifestyle industry. The second speaker was David Ledstrup from Bigum&Co, who talked about the use of social social media and the possibilities within these. Line and Nina had a blast while preparing for the event. And what a transformation of the showroom - we just love all the possibilities of our new showroom.
Line and Nina with Simon Hansen and As Øland from Dansk Fashion and Textile before the start of the event.
Around 4 o'clock everyone started to arrive, having a drink and a chat before the speakers went on.
The Italian Alberto Costabello from A+A Design Studio talked about general tendencies within fashion and interior, focusing on colors, materials and prints.
The second speaker of the night was David Ledstrup who is one of the social media advisors at Bigum&Co. He talked about this new "generation connected", and the importance of social media to this generation. He explained how to use social media and the possibilities within these, and how to communicate from business to consumers through social medias such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
After the presentation, everyone enjoyed healthy delicious wraps from Unplugged Juice, and drinks provided by Carlsberg and Little Miracles. As the picture shows, those Little Miracles were very popular, and gone very quickly ;) We can understand why.
Here we see stylists Dorte Rani and Marianne Chloé grabbing a bite to eat after the presentation.
And so did the sweet girls from FiveUnits and Samsøe Samsøe.
Everyone also got a chance to take a look at all the trend books that were brought by Colour House.
Fashion editor at Costume Maiken Winther and Louise Normann from Hugo Boss, also came to hear the two speakers. We hope they learned a thing or two.
All night DJ Kasper Bjørke played smooth tunes at the event. Here he is chatting with Christina Haugaard from Custommade.
The event was another great success, and we do hope that everybody enjoyed themselves and left our showroom full of inspiration for the coming seasons!
Launch of The Old Barber Shop Jewellery.
Thursday the 7th was a busy day at 9PR. After the NEYE since 1881 by Jørgen Simonsen event, we had another event at Klarlund Jewellery on Østergade 22 in Copenhagen. This was the launch of Morten Barbré's jewellery line called The Old Barber Shop Jewellery.Morten Barbré is the owner of the tattoo shop The Old Barber Shop, which some of you might know from the tv show; Tattoo Salonen. Morten has always been fascinated by the exclusivness of a fine jewellery, and he put the fascination into action which has led to The Old Barber Shop Jewellery. It might seem like an odd couple - high end jewellery and the tattooed Morten Barbré, however when you think of it, Morten has a certain old world charm about him. Read on to see the jewellery line, and the pictures of the event. On a chilly autumn evening, the blue carpet was unfolded in front of Klarlund, and the mood was set with burning torches.Morten and his wife Hannah were ready to welcome all the guests at the event. The jewellery line is a perfect expression of Morten Barbrés individual vision and personality - it is an attempt to combine the raw with the refined, the modern with the old. All the jewellery are made from 18 kt gold and with top Wesselton VVS diamonds. The Love Ring, as you see above, is The Old Barber Shop Jewellery's interpretation of the old signet ring, where one could ingrave family alliances, family images etc. Here, the idea is that you can ingrave that personal story, line from a song or anything else that is privately between you and another person. The letters are so small, that you need a magnifying glass to read it, which means that the message can remain secret, only known by those you choose.A little red carpet action. Morten Barbré greeted all his guests with smiles and hugs. Read on to see who guested the event (which many many people did!)The sweet team from Cover attended the event to check out the cool jewellery line. Here are Ethilia from Georg Jensen, Brigitte from Hermés and stylist Anette Hvidt. The sweet bloggers Emilie Delance and Celine Albert also took the time to check out the new jewellery!Funda from the blog ByFunda brought her friend to the event. And of course, here is the team from The Old Barber Shop - Eliot, Morten himself and his best friend Jonas..... and also members from The Old Barber Shop, we have Maria and Dario. Mikkel Skipper from Gant Rugger, and Virgil Nicholas also showed their support. It really was a full house at Klarlund!Mie from WeWonder made the trip to Klarlund and is with our own Nina.Morten Barbrés wife Hannah brought her parents Ginnie and Bo, and they really look quite proud.CEO of Klarlund, Stig Andersen stood besides Morten Barbré all night, but we caught him with bubbles, and Pernille Møbjerg from Goldmind by his side. And then it was time for Morten to proudly present his jewellery line, with a most likely just as proud wife listening.Morten Barbré's design is produced by this cool looking guy - his name is Anton, and here he is presenting the production side of The Old Barber Shop Jewellery line.Everybody listened intently, and Klarlund was strecthed to its limits! Full house is an understatement. The event really was very successful and everybody was impressed by the jewellery. Besides everybody were all about smiles and laughs. Here we have Lene Nissen from Jyllandsposten with Nomi Tuwel from Nordic Style Mag caught in a moment of fun!The cool jewellery line is sold exclusively at Klarlund's, and if you havn't already seen the jewellery 'live', then hurry up and go check it out. It is an amazing view!
NEYE since 1881 by Jørgen Simonsen event
On Thursday the 7th of November, 9PR hosted a big event to launch the very interesting design fusion between NEYE and the internationally acknowledged haute couture designer Jørgen Simonsen. The story behind the cooperation is quite interesting, and startet at a christmas party where Camilla Raffnsøe - CEO of NEYE - and Jørgen Simonsen met and talked about anything and everything. Jørgen Simonsen agreed to design a collection for NEYE, and the result is captivating, luxurious and practical all at the same time. This post will take you through the event, and show you who showed up to see the beautiful collection. All day was dedicated the NEYE event, and everybody pitched in to make sure that everything was perfect. Nazanin from NEYE is helping with the unpacking of all the bags. Here you see some of the bags from the beautiful collection. Every little detail you see is handmade, and the look of the bags are the perfect compromise between the haute couture style of Jørgen Simonsen and the typical Danish and Scandinavian practicality. Many of our favorite stylists, journalists and bloggers showed up to take a look on the exciting cooperation.Stylist Barbara Gullstein visited, along with her beautiful son Milo.Chris Pedersen from Cover was among the guests, and ejoyed the collection where some of the bags can be used by men also. From Eurowoman we had Fashion Editor Gertrud Bønnelykke and Web Editor Miriam Meyer.Camilla Louise Høg from Euroman also checked out the collection, with special interest in the unisex bags. Here we have the beautiful blogger Celine Albert.Fashion editor at Femina; Vibeke Nielsen was happy to come and hear more about the collaboration and the inspiration behind.Assistant to stylist Sille Henning, Nanna Lindskow arrived to check out the collection.Blogger Funda from ByFunda.com along with Cecilie Philipsen.Web Editor at Costume, Trine Oehlenschlæger also guested the event. Here we have stylist Sofia Astby, along with Nomi Tuwel from Nordic Style Mag.Team Tromborg came to congratulate both NEYE and Jørgen Simonsen with the colaboration.Blogger Emilie Delance also came to see the the beautiful collection. When everybody had arrived, Camilla and Jørgen told the story behind the colaboration, and explained the process from idea, to design, to production. Jørgen explained how his aesthetic culture, derived from his 22 years as a resident in Paris, was fused with the scandivian minimalism, which was not always easy. Jørgen Simonsen's vision for the collection is that a bag should not always be able to be tucked onto a bike, and survive a trip in the windy Danish weather. He calls for a more luxurious aesthetic, which is well interpreted into his collection by the use of python and fur from Danish mink. The bags are produced in Italy by one of Jørgen Simonsen's best friends, and many of the bags are named after his friends from Denmark and more specifically, from his hometown Struer. After the presentation it was time for the guests to see, feel and to transfer the words and the story into the bags. Here we have the designer, Jørgen Simonsen caught in a moment where he is explaining the collection for team Eurowoman, Gertrud and Miriam. And if you havn't already read the article from Friday's Børsen, make sure to do it! This article will give you an even more in debth idea about the man behind the NEYE since 1881 by Jørgen Simonsen, which is in stores today!
Visit 3rd Street!
Are you also sick and tired of missing that Celine that you have been wishing for for so long? Not wearing those Louboutin pumps you imagined wearing New Years Eve? The 3rd Street is the remedy for these frustrations, and is born out of them. 3rd Street is an app, which will make high-end shopping easier for the busy but fashion minded woman. The app aims to bring the customer and the boutique closer together, by making new styles, events etc. available online, via the app. It is the idea that the customer will be able to find the desired item on the app, and then go to the boutique and try it on, as opposed to ordering it online. 3rd Street was launched on November 4th and is available on AppStore now. The young entrepeneur Frederikke Nissen is the woman behind the app, and we at 9PR have talked to her about her thoughts and inspirations behind 3rd Street. What is the inspiration behind 3rd Street? "My inspiration actually came from my own personal frustrations about keeping up to date with news, events and arrival of new styles. I was tired of missing out on all the beautiful styles, that had sold out, and generally feeling a lack of insight into the top news from my favorite shops. These news always got lost in my mail inbox, and I never really got to read them. It seemed even more difficult to navigate through the vast flow of information that quite sporadically is presented via sites such as Instagram, Facebook, magazines and various websites. 3rd Street is my attempt at offering women who are experiencing the same frustrations as I an alternative - a little haven where news and inspiration from all your favorite boutiques are offered and easily available." What is the reason behind the need for such an app?"We are using increasingly more time online, and especially on smartphones where we find information and inspiration about fashion. This is why it seemed obvious to offer an app, where fashion conscious people are able to find this information at one place, without having to navigate through various websites. 3rd Street serves as a digital shopwindow for the boutiques, where they are able to inspire and showcase their styles. In connection to this, 3rd street aims at bringing the customer back into the shops, not just ordering the item online, which is a side effect of the increased digitalization. 3rd Street helps at bringing the customer and the shop together."So ladies, do yourselves the favor and try out the app! It is free, it is available on AppStore and it is smooth and beautiful to work with! And did I mention the very impressive list of shops that are cooperating with Frederikke Nissen and 3rd Street? Just to give you a tease and to name a few: Kassandra, Holly Golightly, Bruuns Bazaar, Stig P, Companys Original, Stella McCartney and much more. Download the app now, and find the entire list!
9PR 4 year birthday bash!
As written in the previous post, 9PR turned four years old on Friday the 1st of November, and to celebrate accordingly, we had a big birthday party at our new premises at Amagertorv 24. The party was a celebration of both the new premises - a housewarming - and our birthday, so as you can imagine the spirits were high! We partied hard at Amagertorv, and then we all went to club Sunday to party even harder. This post will take you through all the people who came to congratulate and celebrate us!
All though it was our birthday, we had a more or less normal working day, only interrupted by lovely people congratulating us! Among these were team Cover with Malene Malling, Chris Pedersen and Gry Sofie. They brought the most beautiful bouquet and some bubbles, which we tested right away. It was delicious!Team Ganni stopped by with a present for us, and oh how we love presents! Ganni gave us this beautiful rug, which is now resting in our office. We cannot wait to warm our feet on it when winter comes!Emil Thorup also came by during the day, to congratulate us, and to borrow this exquisite bag from Jørgen Simonsen by NEYE.The sweet girls from ELLE, Josephine and Johanne, visited to shoot a coming budget series for the magazine in our new pink conference room. We are excited to see how it turned out!At around 20.45 everything was just about ready for our guests. All day we had Peter and Charlotte from Kastrup Design helping out with the decor for the party. We had a lot of alcohol that needed to be cooled, and Kastrup Design offered the perfect solution. These globes made from plexiglass, showcased and cooled our drinks at the same time. The lovely wine was delivered by Kjær & Sommerfeldt and the beer from Carlsberg, and it looked great in the globes! We had the delicious Drink Little Miracles lined up, to remind our guests to drink one of these between every alcoholic drink ;) everybody returned home safely. The first people arrived, and Storm & Marie is well represented by Kristine, Line, Kim and Mette. They were quick to find our welcome drinks, which was the delicious Aperol, delivered by HansJust! The beautiful girls Misse from Misse Mai, and Feodora from Self Care shop are looking great whilst enjoying a drink.Quickly more and more people arrived, and the anticipation was slowly released..Whilst more people arrived. Here are stylist Sille Henning along with her assistant Nanna Lindskow.Rikke, assistant to Pernille Teisbæk and Thea from GrenaaBuchard also joined the celebration. And of course some our favorite bloggers; here we have Mie from WeWonder, Emily from EmilySalomon and Maria from Styleintuition.Followed by Lily Silwer from Beyondblack, next to Funda from byFunda.Morten Babré from The Old Barber Shop stopped by to congratulate us on our birthday. Joy, high spirits and not least a lot of dancing!! Not long after the arrival of these beautiful people, it was time to turn out the lights at our beautiful new premises and go to club Sunday.Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures from club Sunday. But then again, maybe that's a good thing!? What we can say though, from our aching heads on Saturday, is that it was a long, fun and wet evening and night!Thank you SO much for taking an evening off to celebrate with us, and thank you for your lovely presents! All love goes out to all of you <3
A little trip down memory lane...
Today, the 1st of November, it is exactly 4 years since Line and Nina wrote 9PR on their door for the first time - and WOW, time travels fast! But looking back and reflecting upon all the adventures that's happened during these four years, the following conclusion occurs; 'Personal Relations' is here to stay - both in our private life and at work. But enough with the romance - we think you deserve a little trip down memory lane, and this post will take you through some of our favorite moments during the years! This is where it all started. Four years ago, we opened our showroom in Kronprinsensgade, and here we are - so happy! We had the best surroundings for building our business, but soon we experienced growing pains, which forced us to move to other surroundings. As most of you know, 9PR really took off at the office at Amagertorv 33. Two years ago, we moved in and as two women assembling all the furniture, you need to keep laughing. Besides, a little workout is always a good thing.Nina is clearly enjoying the new table that Line put together. Just moved in and with bare walls, but already a bit messy. This is how it all started! Here Nina is showing off her keen technical skills. She cannot figure out why the recipient can't hear her....Psst.. The overall level of technicality at 9PR hasn't improved since ;)Which is why we need the best people to help us out from time to time. Here Robin is helping us communicate our visions through our website.Nina is looking beautiful in front of the trusted Mac at one of the many late nights, we've had at Amagertorv 33.However, ther is always time for silliness and laughter.Working in the fashion industry, it is of utmost importance to keep and safeguard appearance, and obviously this is something we do in the best way possible. Duuuhhhh...Receiving gifts from Samsøe&Samsøe is simply something that comes with the title! Don't you just love the styling?
There has been a lot of travelling during the years, and as the two true 'women of the world' they are, finding their way in a foreign city is no trouble at all. Here Nina and Line are in Berlin, having no difficulties at all finding PREMIUM.. hmm. With the map upside down.
Planning the trip to New York went smoothly. However, during the booking of a double room at the hotel, was not quite as expected. Nina is sitting on the bed they had to share during the stay.
Work hard, play harder! At our two year birthday, we had a big party a Zen! We don't think anybody forgot our name after that ;)
Last year we threw a birthday party where the theme was GLITTER. Some of you might remember the invitation? We surely remember all the guests arriving with glitter all over their faces! We cannot grasp the fact that it's already been a year - so much has happened, and of course we have said goodbye to the old space at Amagertorv, only to move on the other side of the street. Here, we have been a part of the rebuild and decoration, and we cannot wait for all of you to see it. They are the most beautiful surroundings, and we have no doubt that the next four years will be just as amazing and exciting as the first four.So we would like to thank all of you wonderful people, who have been with us and supported us during the first four years! Cheers, and have a great weekend :)
Open House Pressday SS14
As you might have noticed on the previous posts, last week was one of the more busy ones at 9PR. Busy, but also very exciting.
Press days in the PR business is about presenting next seasons' collections to the press, so they can begin developing the shoots for the coming season. However, after the scheduled showings with the biggest fashion magazines it's been tradition to open up our doors for all the stylists, fashion bloggers and the like. This means sore feet from all the standing, sore throats from all the talking and laughing and sore snapfingers from all the photos we've been taking of the lovely people. This post will take you through Open House at 9PR, and show you who stopped by to look at the new collections. Besides that, we had one very exciting visit.. Stay tuned to find out who :)
We started Wednesday out with a small one-on-one presentation with Camilla and Frederik from Euroman magazine. Behind Frederik, you see the Samsøe&Samsøe SS14 collection for men and behind Camilla for women.
At the same time, we had lovely Clara Matz from Woman and Lily Silwer from M! magazine and the blog Beyondblack.com. They were especially happy about the cool Adax by Carin Wester collaboration, and here they are showing their favorite styles, in our new accessory room, decorated by Design by Us.
Press days are also about having a good time, and here is a snap of a cozy chat with some of our favorite stylists. From left, we have Marianne Chloé with the tasty Little Miracles drink, our own Line, stylist Sofia Astby, Dorte and Christine. The latter fully dressed in Tusnelda Bloch SS14 suit.
Stylists Dorte and Marianne Chloé loved the print of the SS14 season by Julie Brandt...
... which we had placed on the cupcakes as well. The delicious cupcakes were made by Chicalicious Cupcakes.
Blogger Emilie Delance from delancefashion.com loved this coat from Ganni, styled with the beautiful silver dress from Stella Nova.
The beautiful bloggers Funda from byfunda.com and Mie from wewonder.com also fell in love with next seasons' coats, also from Ganni.
And from the new internetbased fashion magazine Normag we had the sweet girls Joan, Julie and Alberte with their favorite styles. Joan with the dotted Storm & Marie pants, Julie with her favorite Ganni shirt and Alberte with the cool printed jeans from SAND.
The beautiful blogger Celine Albert was crazy about the Tiger of Sweden jacket in navy blue. The same style is also made in the color of the coming season - pastel pink, which was another favorite.
Blogger Cathrine Nissen from rockpaperdresses.com chose this Just Female white cardi as her style of choice.
Stylist Nanna Flachs couldn't keep her hands from the Tusnelda Bloch SS14 collection, and this navy blue bomber jacket was her favorite.
Press days are hard and stressful, so it is important that you remember to sit down and laugh! In this pic we have Fiona from spotding.com in the foreground next to our own showroom manager Kristine, Funda from byfunda.com, our own Nina, Emilie Delance from delancefashions.com, Christina from passionsforfashion.dk, Mie from wewonder.dk, Frederikke from fredesblog.dk and finally Tikkie Adélie from adélieblog.dk.
And whilst the above mentioned were lounging in the sofa, stylist Kenny Alexandr and Mette Krogsgaard were laughing in the corner :)
And the last visit of the day was from DANSK magazine! Line showed Kim Grenaa and Rozanna Fritz around our new showroom.
And now for the news... Do you know this guy? If you don't, you should, and here is your chance. This is the Danish designer Jørgen Simonsen, who has been working with some of fashions most influential designers, such as: John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen! He is in Denmark to launch a series by NEYE designed by Jørgen Simonsen, and we are very proud to present a little sneak peek of the beautifully crafted bags. Jørgen is wearing one of his bags - simple, luxurious and delicious.
This gorgeous grey leather bag, beautifully shows the fusion of Jørgen Simonsens luxurious aesthetics and NEYE's more practical and minimalistic scandinavian touch. Stay tuned for more bags, which we will show you later in a seperate blog post!
And hence, another week has gone by! All of us from 9PR would like to thank all of you who visited through the week, and for all your sweet congratulations' on our new home :)
Press Day 2
The second press day went by so fast, with visits from IN Magazine, Soundvenue, Elle, Eurowoman and Costume. It was fun to hear what all of them had to say about the new collections, and how they would style and put together all the different pieces. It is safe to say that they were definitely excited about many of the new prints and matching sets that we will see this coming season.
Our first meeting was with Kathrine Houe from IN Magazine, who stopped by for a morning coffee and yoghurt from The Yogurt Shop.
Next up was Sidsel and Michael from Soundvenue who told us about their coming projects and shoots.
It was nice to have Michael in the showroom to keep the estrogen level down. He loved the new Suit SS14 collection, and especially this blue printed shirt.
Sidsels favorite piece was this printed jacket from the collaboration between Anne Sofie Madsen and Storm & Marie (AXSM). And it is safe to say that she isn't the only one.
Mie, Josephine and Johanne from Elle also came to see the new collections as well as the new showroom, and look for styles for their coming SS14 shoots.
The girls all picked out their favorite styles. Both Mie and Josephine picked out a matching set from Ganni and Johanne loved the grey woolen coat from Samsøe Samsøe.
Gertrud and Bea from Eurowoman stopped by for lunch and a long chat about all and nothing. Gertrud fell in love with our new Italien brand NIOI, and especially this yellow printed skirt and top.
Bea was pleased to see that we recently got Just Female in the showroom, and one of her favorites was this black cowboy jacket.
The Costume team was the last to visit us on Tuesday. Thora Valdimarsdottir thought the blue fuzzy knit from Envii looked so cosy, fashion editor Maiken Winther found many new favorite styles from Billi Bi, but she especially loved the mint snake printed pump. Chief editor Rikke Christensen went for a more classic blue coat from Ganni.
If you want to see more photos and stay updated on who is visiting us these days, remember to follow us on instagram '9pr'.
Press Day 1
The press week at 9PR has begun, and for us that means long days, meetings, a little too much coffee
and sugar, instagram spamming (we apologize) and taking lots of pictures :)
We kicked off Monday, with a visit from Maria Kentorp from Børsen.
As earlier mentioned, the press week is filled with perhaps a little too much sugar. Yesterday we enjoyed Julie Brandt cupcakes, fruit (an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right?) and delicious organic energizing juices from Little Miracles. The juices will be golden this week and a great supplement to coffee.
Our second meeting, was with all the girls from Femina with whom we enjoyed some delicious breakfast from The Yoghurt Shop and juices from Little Miracles. After experimenting with a couple of these little miracles, they came to the conclusion that they liked the 'green tea, ginseng, pomegranate and acai'-enegiser the most.
Afterwards Christine and Majbritt looked at the new SS14 collections and picked out some of their favorite styles
And so did their two sweet fashion assistants. They fell for the green printed matching set from Tusnelda Bloch.
Freelance stylist Sille Henning and assistant Nanna Lindskow also stopped by to take a look at the new collections. We had to quicken them up
with some coffee and a Little Miracles energizer - I guess we are not the only ones with long days.
Here they are showing us their favorite spring items from Stella Nova.
Our last meeting was with the sweet girls from Alt for Damerne Camilla Larsson and Line Hindsgaul came by. Their favorite styles was from Tiger Jeans and Tiger of Sweden: a classic pair of blue jeans and a cool black biker jacket.
Adax by Carin Wester Event
Things are running fast this Autumn at 9PR, and Friday we hosted another amazing event at Hotel d'Angleterre! This time it was the launch of the collaboration between Adax and the Swedish designer Carin Wester. We are very excited to present to you her accessory project with Adax - Adax by Carin Wester.
The collection has a very minimalistic expression in all black and white, as you can see above. What was of importance in the development of the collection, was especially the feel of exquisit craftmanship. A bag is not just a bag, but a statement piece that will express who you are and what you are about, and we think this collection does exactly this, and to exces.
Here is a close-up of the Shopper 'Antwerp'.
The broad handle adds an element of uniqueness to this otherwise 'ordinary' black leather bag.
The team behind the event and the collaboration attended the event at d'Angeterre. From left to right, we have Pia Silfen from Adax, founder of Adax Eugen Silfen, designer Carin Wester, designer of Maanii Naja Silfen and our own Line and Nina.
Trine and Thora from Costume dropped by to take a look at the beautiful collection. Thora is carrying the amazing Adax leopard bag, which is in stores now.
Actress Sofie Lassen-Kahlke attended the event, carrying a cool AW13 Adax bag, also in stores now.
Many of the Danish fashion magazines also guested the event, and here is our own Nina, with Miriam from Eurowoman.
Pia from Adax and Sofie Lassen-Kahlke.
The sweet girls from Costume; Thora, Rikke and Trine.
Here we have blogger Emily Salomon.
Line Hindsgaul from Alt for Damerne and stylist Sille Henning.
Cover magazine was also well represented at the event by Chris Pedersen and Julie Moestrup.
Founder of Adax Eugen Silfen is enjoying a glass of bubbles along with actress Mia Jexen.
London based stylist Alexandra Carl guested d'Angleterre, looking super cool in the Ganni plaid coat.
And of course the designer behind the new Adax by Carin Wester collection, along with Malou Wedel Bruun and Mette-Marie Lei from Elle.
Here she is again, along with stylist and founder of the Ndegrees magazine Dorothea Gundtoft and her assistant Caroline Gudmandsen. On Carin Westers left is her boyfriend Thomas.
All in all, the event was a great success, and we personally cannot wait till the collection hits the stores at the end of January 2014!
Medina by GOSH Launch
Yesterday, 9PR had a very exciting event at Nimb - the launch of the exclusive colab between the make-up company GOSH and non other than pop-star Medina. It has been a longlived dream for Medina to co-produce cosmetics and other beauty related products, and we are very proud to present this collaboration, which will hit Matas on Wednesday the 16th of October. Read on, to see the whos' and whats' at the event at Nimb, and get an idea of what the Medina by GOSH cosmetics series feels like.
We would like to begin with presenting the series - and here she is, Medina, proudly showing the many lovely products. GOSH and 9PR invited many beautiful people, and the following pictures will show you just that.
First, the hostesses of the event - our own Nina and Line along with team GOSH Bo Tjellesen and Christina Neméth.
The guests who joined us at Nimb were fashion and beauty journalists, fashion- and beauty blogs, celebrities, stylists and make-up artists. Enjoy!
Here, Trine Oehlenschlæger from Costume, Lily Silwer from the blog Beyond Black and Beauty editor at Costume Anne Mønsted, are looking great in front of the photographers.
SKØN magazine was also represented, by Cecilie and Cathrine.

Make-up artist Nicci Welsh also guested the launch of Medina by GOSH.
When all the guests had arrived, Medina and Bo Tjellesen presented the series and explained the thoughts behind the look of the products.
Medina explained that it was of utmost importance for her to be part of the process - hereby meaning the development of the color scheme, the fragrance, the feel of the product on your skin and lips, the look of wrapping etc. She also revealed, that the colors in the Medina by GOSH series, were colors she had always used in her own daily make-up routine, and that she was proud to launch and thereby put her name on a quality and affordable product.
Here she is, showing just how happy she is about her dream-come-true collaboration. This is the giftbox, which includes the deodorant, perfume and mascara. We cannot wait till the 16th!
Beautiful and stylish Medina with her Medina by GOSH perfume, which is called Perfect Drug.
Pssst.. Which is also the title of one of her songs. All of the other products in the series are also named after the titles of Medinas songs. That's cool!
Our own Kristine is having a chat with Mie from Wewonder and Helene from Ganni.
The beautiful women; Sarah Zobel, Medinas stylist Søs Børresen, owner of Youheshe.com Lulu Henckel and actress Laura Christensen.
Bo Tjellesen with his children and the gorgeous Medina.
We at 9PR would like to thank all the people who guested our event, and made the evening and launch of Medina by GOSH a great success!
Mette Mikkelsen in NYC Part 2
We were so lucky to have stylist Mette Mikkelsen blog about two shoots while she was in the Big Apple.
During her trip she also did a 'night shoot' for the week 47 issue for Alt for Damerne, and here is a sneak peak of the shoot.
The Empire Hotel has a rooftop with one of the most stunning skyline views of the city - so we thought why not shoot a few pictures up there!
The red light from the legendary Empire Hotel sign (- which some might remember from Gossip Girl XOXO) made the perfect background for the first shot.
The fashion party at the rooftop took us a bit by surprise (since it was a Monday evening - which proves the city never sleeps) but the party crowd actually worked out great as a background for the shoot.
Beautiful model Erica from Le Management shined in the glamorous Julie Brandt sequin dress with the skyline as background.
Erica posing on 6th avenue wearing the amazing Sand jacket with snake print sleeves - a favorite of mine!
Last location of the day was Times Square - a bit of a challenge since it's the most touristy place in all of Manhattan (even in the nighttime!).
Close up of this seasons coolest boots!! By Won Hundred.
Me on Times Square looking quite tired after a long (but fun) work day!
The amazing crew - Makeup Artist Imane, Photographer Jacob Hoffmann and Hair Stylist Yas hanging out before heading home to bed.
We thank Mette Mikkelsen for guest blogging for us, and we can't wait to see the result of the two shoots in December :)
Fashion Assistant Night
Last Friday we invited the sweet fashion assistants from the various Danish magazines up for a drink and a casual talk in the showroom, and we were
so pleased to see so many of the girls stop by after work.
Sweet Tanja Larsen and Victoria from IN enjoying a glass of bubbles with our own intern Sofie.
They couldn't help looking through all the amazing brands at our showroom, so we asked them to pick out their favourites:
Line Dalgaard from Elle loved the much photographed coat from Ganni
Emma from Cover picked out a set with a printed shirt from Ganni and pants from Gestuz.
Yasmin from Cover fell for the grey coat from Gestuz and black jacket from TUSNELDA BLOCH Copenhagen.
The sweet girls Helena & Ammanda from Femina showing their favorite pieces; pink blazer from Black Secret and blue sequin dress from Julie Brandt
Victoria from IN picked out this black skirt from Tusnelda Bloch
The girls from Alt for Damerne really liked this blazer from Samsøe Samsøe and cosy knit from Sand.
The assistant of stylist Sille Henning, Nanna Lindskow was loving the blue and sparkling.
Here she is trying on a sequin dress from Julie Brandt and jacket from Envii
However, the evening was also intended to revolve around something other than trying on beatiful clothing (although tempting), and we all had a really good time enjoying each others company!
Here we have Katrine from Alt for Damerne, along with our own interns Nina and Frederikke, obviously having a good time!
Our lovely Showroom Manager Kristine and Showroom Coordinator Nanna, having a cold drink and a breather from hosting.
All in all, a fun night in good company and a little too many bubbly drinks and good food!
Thanks to you all, for making the night filled with laughter and fun! We look forward to our next gathering with the girls <3
